In the context of rapid development of digital media technology, contemporary Chinese ink art has shifted towards new artistic creation possibilities integrating with digital technology. This paper takes the interactive narrative of contemporary Chinese ink art in the digital media context as the research object. From the dimensions of technical medium, artistic language, and audience participation, it systematically analyzes the aesthetic characteristics, cultural connotations of its narrative strategies. This research cannot fully cover all artistic forms. The study finds that digital media not only expands the expression boundaries of ink art but also reconstructs the viewing mode and acceptance mechanism of traditional ink art through interactive narrative, forming a unique digital ink art practice model. Such research provides strong support for the study of ink art. This research expands the theoretical perspective of ink art research and has important theoretical and practical value in promoting the digital transformation and localization development of contemporary Chinese art.
