Traditional Creative Ethics, AI-Generated Art in the Digital Age

Abstract

In the context of the rapid development of digital technology and artificial intelligence, AI-generated art has shifted towards a profound challenge to traditional artistic creation ethics. This article approaches the issue from four dimensions: the creative subject, originality, copyright ownership, and aesthetic value, and systematically analyzes the impact of AI-generated art on traditional creative ethics. This study cannot fully cover all ethical issues. The research reveals that while AI-generated art enhances creative efficiency and expands the boundaries of art, it also triggers ethical dilemmas such as blurring the originality standards, shaking the copyright ownership, and reconfiguring aesthetic values. Such research provides strong support for the study of digital art ethics. The article proposes that a balance should be sought between technical rationality and humanistic concern. By reconstructing the creative ethics framework, improving laws and regulations, and strengthening industry self-discipline, it can provide ethical support for the healthy development of AI-generated art. This has significant theoretical significance and practical value for promoting the innovation of digital art ethics theory, guiding AI art practice, and promoting a positive interaction between technology and humanities.
