Abstract

Against the backdrop of the digital economy - global trade integration, cross - border trade financing faces issues like information asymmetry, lack of trust and operational risks, and shifts to trust reconstruction research. Based on blockchain technology characteristics, this paper constructs a trust reconstruction framework including information sharing, smart contracts and consensus mechanisms, and analyzes how blockchain reshapes the risk management mechanism of the cross - border trade financing trust system through decentralization, traceability and immutability. Research shows that blockchain technology improves the trust environment in cross - border trade financing by reducing information asymmetry, enhancing transparency and optimizing efficiency. However, the technology maturity needs improvement. The automatic execution and risk early warning of smart contracts can reduce operational and credit risks, yet technical security, regulatory compliance, cross - chain collaboration risks need attention and standardization issues remain. This research provides theoretical and practical support for financial institutions and regulators to optimize cross - border trade financing models and enhance risk management. It reveals blockchain's application mechanism from trust reconstruction and risk management perspectives, and the actual implementation effect needs continuous observation.
